Olive Oil at last

In 2013 we started our olive orchard and currently have 40 trees. This year, 2017, we harvested our first significant crop. 304 pounds yielding 5 gallons of lovely oil.The milling and bottling were done locally at Goldridge Organic Farm (aka: Olive Leaf Hills Mill). The primary variety is Taggasca, the only olive grown in Liguria, the home province of my husband’s family. We also harvest a small amount of Frantoia and Pendolino, Tuscan varieties which add some complexity to the oil. Look for small bottles at the farmers markets, probably in late December.

Sorry, sold out of 2016 oil. Watch for 2017 oil in Fall of 2017.
